The 5 Components of Multimedia

Text:
Text is a visual expression of letter numbers and symbols that we use to communicate ideas and information. Text will always remain reliable because it provides meaning, detail, and direction. Text brings written structure to multimedia.

Graphics:
If visual support if ever needed to add an extra wow factor to the multimedia experience, graphics is the go to. Graphics illustrate concepts and ideas as well as bring visual energy, emotion, and pizazz to any design.

Video:
Video or Film, is a motion picture. Over a span of time, video has transgressed from a linear format to a more satisfying real-life movement across time.

Audio:
Audio is referred to an aural content that is created through electronic capture and sound. Either standalone or synchronized with visual narrative, audio creates energy and emotion to the multimedia experience.

Animation: Animation is the process of creating motion over time through rapid projection of a sequence of hand-drawn or computer-generated images. Whether it's in 2D, 3D, or motion graphics animation has become common for storytelling and moviemaking.
